At Scottsdene Kids Club we believe in reaching the children of Scottsdene through engaging with them in a way that allows some relief from the angst and frustration of everyday life and gives them the opportunity to be distracted from the trying circumstances they face day to day. We do this through practically sharing God’s Word and showing them ways to take the edge off via physical and competitive activities. To relieve the excess energy and channel it into something more inclusive for the community.
Scottsdene Kids Club is a safe space for our children and we encourage showing kindness and love to all. At Scottsdene Kids Club, all are welcome. However our ministry is focused around the kids from Pescodia Court and Klipbok Street in Scottsdene and helping them see that the Love of God stretches beyond local differences or rivalries and unites us under one common theme. Loving thy neighbor.
We meet on the first Friday of every month at 5pm at the Scottsdene Recreational Centre.
